JENNIFER: Jack, Jack come on wake up. Listen to me. Jack, you've got to wake up. Katerina do something. Why won't he wake up?

CARLY: Let me work.

JENNIFER: Jack! Jack wake up. Can you hear me Jack?

FRANKIE: Jen, Jen, come on.

FRANKIE DRAGS JENNIFER AWAY FROM JACK.

FRANKIE: Look I know it's rough on you okay and you must be in shock.

JENNIFER: Yeah, yeah, I am in shock. My best friend and the guy I used to love are brother and sister and I never knew it.

FRANKIE: Jen you've got to believe me. We never wanted to hurt you.

JENNIFER: You came to Salem pretending to be somebody you weren't.

FRANKIE: I came to Salem to hide.

JENNIFER: You made us believe you were some guy living off the street with no food and no money. That must have been a pretty good laugh, huh. Stupid naive Jennifer Horton fell for your story and fell in love with you.

FRANKIE: No Jen, come on, let me explain.

JENNIFER: I don't want to hear your explanation alright.

RANKIE: Jen.

JENNIFER: I don't want to hear it anymore Frankie or should I call you Francois. I trusted you, that's the person I should have trusted and didn't. He stuck by me no matter how many times I pushed him away and now I don't know if he's going to live or die.

FRANKIE TELLS HER THAT THERE IS SOMETHING IMPORTANT HE WANTS TO TELL HER BUT SHE IS NOT INTERESTED.

FRANKIE: Just calm down okay.

JENNIFER: I will be calm when I know that Jack going to be okay.

SHE GOES BACK OVER TO JACK.

JENNIFER: What is it, what's wrong, why isn't he waking up?

CARLY: I think he's got a concussion.

JENNIFER: Is it bad?

CARLY: I don't know, I don't think so. I'm beginning to wonder if he doesn't wake up soon though.

JENNIFER TAKES JACK'S HAND AND STROKES HIS FOREHEAD.

JENNIFER: Jack.... Jack, I know that I told you that I didn't care about you anymore but I know that you didn't believe me when I said that, right. And all those things I said about Lawrence and being in love with him, you didn't believe that either, I know you didn't. You know that I had to say because he forced me to. You're my hero Jack. (Beat) You're my real true forever and always hero. (Beat) I love you Jack.

SHE KISSES HIS FOREHEAD.

FRANKIE WATCHES, AND IS NOT HAPPY SEEING THAT SHE NO LONGER LOVES HIM, BUT LOVES JACK INSTEAD.

JENNIFER: Only you Jack.

HE SLOWLY BEGINS TO STIR.

JACK: Ooohhh.... oooohhhh.

JENNIFER: Jack, Jack. Jack listen to me, can you hear me.

JACK: Ahhhh.... yeah.

JENNIFER: Jack. Jack, come on, that's it. That's it, come on, just wake up.

JACK: Ohhhh.

JENNIFER: Yeah, come on, you can do it. Just open your eyes. Jack look at me.

JACK STIRS BUT DOES NOT OPEN HIS EYES. HE HAS A LARGE BUMP ON HIS HEAD AND A CUT ABOVE HIS LEFT EYE.

JACK: I need a cup of coffee.

JENNIFER: What?

JACK: Sugar.... two lumps.... oh.

HE RUBS HIS FOREHEAD AND FEELS THE BUMP.

JACK: Hold the lumps.

HE LOOKS TOWARDS JENNIFER BUT IS VERY DIZZY.

JENNIFER: Jack.

JACK: Hi there.

JENNIFER: Hi.

JACK: Oh.... ah.... you got to talk about complex subconscious, huh. I had a dream that would make Freud have nightmares.

JENNIFER: You did, what was it?

JACK:
Heheheh. We were.... we were in this.... far away country that had no name and you were.... you were trying to.... to pose as this heiress. I know it's stupid. I know you'd never do anything that dumb. And then.... then you were married to this.... this guy who had this weird thing about old movies. Hahahah.... and then.... get this.... your old.... your old friend Francoise.... no, no Frankie.... was in it too. Do you believe that, isn't that a riot? It....

JACK LOOKS UP AND SEES FRANKIE. JACK IS NOT PLEASED WITH FRANKIE, HE PROPOSEFULLY USES THE FEMININE FORM OF THE NAME -- "FRANCOISE," INSTEAD OF "FRANCOIS."

JACK: Francoise! It wasn't a dream, was it?

CARLY COMES BACK TO CHECK JACK WHILE JENNIFER WATCHES.

FRANKIE: Listen Jen, there's something I want you to know. Katerina and I we just wanted to make a life for ourselves. We never meant for anyone else to get caught up in our mess. We just wanted to be ordinary people, normal people that's all. So we came up with this plan. I was to come to Salem. She knew so much about the place from the stories you'd told her at school. Anyway I was to come to Salem and hide out and get to know you because Katerina knew that if I needed help, you'd be there. You see Jen, she knew she could count on you. And then after a while she was going to meet me but then things started to go wrong. You got dragged into it and that's exactly what I didn't want to happen. That's why I left because I didn't want to hurt you. I...aren't you going to say anything. Come on Jen help me out. I'm kind of wearing my emotions on my shirt sleeve here.

JENNIFER: The only thing I want to think about right now is getting everybody out of here okay.

CARLY: Okay he's all set here, okay, easy.

CARLY HAS WRAPPED JACK'S CUMMERBUND AROUND HIS HEAD AS A BANDAGE.

JACK: Ooooh. So how are we doing Dr. Carly?

CARLY: Oh I'd say you'll live. You'll be okay. Just don't ask me if you'll play the violin, alright.

JACK: That was on the tip of my tongue.

CARLY: I think we need to find a way out of here.

JACK: Alright, let's go....

JACK TRIES TO GET UP.

CARLY: No, I don't want you moving okay.

JENNIFER: I'll stay here with you.... Jack.

JACK: No complaints there.

JENNIFER: Are you okay?

JACK: Oooohhhh!

SCENE FOUR: FRANKIE AND CARLY START TO PULL OUT SOME ROCKS AND CARLY FINDS A TINY HOLE THAT LEADS UP. FRANKIE THINKS IT IS TOO SMALL BUT CARLY SAYS SHE HAS TO FIND THE OTHERS SO SHE'S GOING TO CRAWL THROUGH. CARLY SAYS SHE HAS TO EARN THE TRUST OF EVERYONE AGAIN SO SHE MUST TRY TO GET HELP. SHE SQUEEZES THROUGH THE HOLE AND LEAVES THE OTHER THREE ALONE. JENNIFER HAS HELPED JACK LIE DOWN AND HE HAS HIS HEAD ON HER LAP.

JENNIFER: It's going to be okay.

JACK: You know something?

JENNIFER: What?

JACK: This is.... this has become a rather small space.

JACK STARTS TO PULL AT HIS TIE AS HIS CLAUSTROPHOBIA BEGINS TO TAKE AFFECT.

JENNIFER: Careful.

JACK: I don't like small spaces. In fact I don't do small spaces at all.

JENNIFER: It's alright, just don't think about that okay Jack.

JACK: What am I supposed to think about?

JENNIFER: Just think about.... just think about survival okay.

JACK: When I start thinking about...survival. That's when I start getting worried.

JENNIFER: Look, listen to me. Do you know what my grandma always says about me?

JACK: What? What's she say?

JACK IS NOW PANTING HEAVILY AND SWEATING.

JENNIFER: She always says that I'm a survivor. And I've got a feeling we're going to survive this too, okay. Just relax Jack, okay. Everything will be fine.

SCENE FIVE: BACK IN ALICE'S ROOM, THEY ARE VERY WORRIED ABOUT HER. SHE HAS CONTINUING PAIN IN HER CHEST AND THEY THINK THEY BETTER NOT LET HER GO TO SLEEP. SO THEY ASK HER TO RELATE OLD FAMILY STORIES TO THEM. ALICE REMINISCES ABOUT ALL THE FAMILY AS THRUGHOUT THE YEARS. [NOTE THIS, AND THE FOLLOWING EPISODES, AIRED DURING DAYS' TWENTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY, THROUGHOUT THE EPISODES THERE WERE NUMEROUS FLASBACKS TO DAYS' MEMORABLE SCENES.]
